Gary Teeler

Gary Teeler, CFE, CEM, CPP, currently serves as Captain of Public Safety Support Services at LCRA since October 2020, overseeing a team focused on emergency management and public safety communications. Previous experience includes roles as Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice Studies at South University, Global Program Manager for Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., and various positions within the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, where responsibilities included administration of emergency management programs and law enforcement leadership. Gary Teeler also worked as an Asset Protection & Loss Prevention Specialist at The Home Depot and began his career as an Adult Probation Officer in Midland County. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University and certifications from the FBI National Academy and Leadership Command College.
