Kate McCarthy, P.G. serves as the Senior Environmental Coordinator at LCRA since July 2023. Previously, Kate held the position of Senior Project Manager at Langan Engineering & Environmental Services from May 2021 to July 2023, and worked as a Senior Geologist at Golder from June 2018 to May 2021. Kate has extensive experience in environmental projects, beginning as a Project Geologist at Pastor, Behling & Wheeler, LLC from December 2007 to June 2018, and prior to that, as a Project Manager at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, focusing on the Remediation Division. Kate's career commenced as a Geologist at Parsons Corporation from February 2001 to February 2005. Kate earned a Bachelor’s degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from Texas A&M University.
