Perry Ball

Perry Ball is an accomplished manager with extensive experience in transmission operations and training. Since April 2017, Perry has served as the Manager of Transmission Learning Programs at LCRA, focusing on enhancing Craft & Technical Training through collaboration with Field Operations and Safety Leadership. Previous roles at LCRA included Operations Trainer and Improvement Coordinator, as well as Senior Transmission System Operator, responsible for monitoring and coordinating the operation of 5200 miles of transmission lines. Prior to LCRA, Perry was an instructor at the Naval Nuclear Power Unit, where training included reactor and electrical plant systems. Additionally, Perry has a background as a Nuclear Electrician in the US Navy, managing electrical distribution systems on submarines. Perry's early career involved management at H.E. Butt Foundation, specializing in training and customer service. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Engineering Management from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Excelsior University.
