James Smith

James Smith is an accomplished professional in plant and property operations, currently serving as the Director of Plant Operations at LCS since October 2024. Previously, James held several roles at Retirement Unlimited Inc, including VP of Plant Operations South and Regional Director of Plant Operations, where responsibilities included supporting Maintenance Directors and overseeing community operational management. At Brookdale, James excelled as a Regional Director of Property Management and Project Management, managing capital projects for 47 communities in Florida, with a focus on maintaining quality standards and compliance. Earlier experience includes positions as Regional Maintenance and Director of Engineering at Brookdale, and as a Maintenance Engineer at Unified Property Management, along with a role as Maintenance Supervisor at Dart Properties.
