Tom Mathisen

Tom Mathisen is the vice president/director – investments for LCS Real Estate. In this role, Tom is responsible for structuring equity joint ventures as well as underwriting the acquisition and development of senior housing communities on behalf of LCS Real Estate. Prior to joining LCS in 2014, Tom spent eight years with Principal Real Estate Investors where he was instrumental in procuring and underwriting ground-up development transactions and acquisitions of existing properties, primarily in the Texas markets. He also held asset management responsibilities within a portfolio that spanned several property types. Prior to Principal, Tom spent nearly two years in public accounting with Ernst & Young, LLP.

Tom is a certified public accountant and earned a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting from Buena Vista University, Storm Lake, Iowa, and an MBA from The University of Iowa.
