Martin Herbert

Martin Herbert is the National Head of Planning at LDA Design, a position they have held since 2020. They previously served as the Technical Director of Town Planning at AECOM and as a Director of Town Planning at WYG from 2016 to 2020. Martin also held roles as Technical Director for Town Planning at URS Infrastructure and Environment UK Ltd, and as Director of Town Planning and Environment at Scott Wilson prior to that. Their extensive experience in the field began at Lewes District Council, where they worked as a Senior Planner for over a decade. Martin earned a BA Hons in Geography from the University of Birmingham in 1975.
