Mathilde Ceilles

Mathilde Ceilles is an experienced journalist and educator currently working as a journalist at Le Figaro since December 2023, based in Marseille. Simultaneously, Mathilde serves as a professor of journalism at the École de Journalisme et de Communication d'Aix-Marseille, teaching interview and reporting techniques to first-year students. As a podcaster for Paradiso Media, Mathilde created "Le sourire Guedj," which received accolades including the prize for best documentary at the Club de la Presse de Marseille and a nomination at the Paris Podcast Festival 2023. Previous work includes journalist roles at 20 Minutes France, where Mathilde focused on local subjects across various themes, and stints at La Tribune, L'Union, Rue89 Lyon, Ouest-France, and L'Avant Post. Mathilde holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Sciences Po Grenoble and completed advanced studies in English at Lycée Edouard Herriot.
