Mathilde Costil is a journalist with extensive experience in political reporting and cartography. They served as a temporary teaching and research assistant at Université de Rouen Normandie from 2016 to 2017, and from 2017 to 2023, they worked as a journalist-cartographer for Le Monde. Currently, Costil holds the position of deputy head of the political service at Le Monde. They earned a Doctorate in Geography-Geopolitics from Université Paris 8, completing their studies in 2016.
