Marta Balode

Marta Balode is an experienced educator and researcher in data analytics, data science, and programming. Currently serving as Batch Manager and Lead Data Analytics Instructor at Le Wagon, Marta teaches core concepts and guides projects in intensive bootcamps. Marta also functions as Lead Data Science Instructor, focusing on advanced topics such as Python, SQL, and machine learning. Concurrently, Marta is a Coding Instructor at TechSpark Academy, delivering classes in Python and cybersecurity to children and teenagers. With a strong research background, Marta has held positions as a Junior Researcher at the Max Planck Institute and ETH Zürich, where significant work includes developing an NLP pipeline for historical parliamentary data and conducting behavioral online experiments. Marta's professional journey includes quality management for medical devices at NCLogics AG and IT system administration at the EVRY group. Marta holds a Master of Science in Neural Systems and Computation from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology from Freie Universität Berlin.
