Cassi Buckner has a long work history, beginning with the Children's Education Foundation in 2000, where they served as Program Director. Cassi then moved to the Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce in 2002, where they were the Education Division Program Director. In 2003, they joined Allegra Print & Imaging as a Marketing Projects Coordinator and Promotional Products Specialist, where they researched and quoted ad specialty inquiries, provided inside sales support and tracked ad specialty sales. In 2008, they became the Production Stage Manager at the Atlanta Dance Theatre, where they supervised load in, running crew and strike for performances, and created and maintained crew schedules for tech and performance weeks. In 2009, they joined ASN Incorporated as a Business Support Representative, where they created e-stores and managed all non-IT related tasks, as well as order management and approving art proofs. Finally, in 2022, they joined Leaderpromos as an Account Coordinator.
Cassi Buckner obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the University of South Carolina between 1984 and 1986. In 2003, they also obtained a Nonprofit Management Certificate from the Duke University Certificate Program in Nonprofit Management.
