Leading Edge is a world-class designer and manufacturer of off-grid power systems including the PowerBox, a pre-configured, plug-and-go system providing power in remote locations 24/7.

Our roots lie in the design of small wind turbines precision engineered in the UK and appreciated for their durability and reliability. We offer a range of unique vertical axis turbines that provide power in the most challenging locations such as the Antarctic; a testament to the endurance and reliability of our products. See the full range of Leading Edge turbines at https://www.leadingedgepower.com/products/wind-turbines.html

We have in-house expertise to design, specify and supply entire off-grid systems, utilising a range of power sources customised to your specific requirements taking into account power requirement, estimated power output for a given location etc. Working with our clients, we engineer the best choice of system components – our British made small wind turbines, ultra-high performance solar panels, deep-cycle battery banks and control gear. These can all be supplied pre-configured so you can have total confidence in your solution.

Our mission is to replace fossil fuel generators with clean, renewable energy. If you have a specific off-grid power requirement, we will be happy to put together a bespoke hybrid wind-solar power system.

We currently export to over 60 countries from our base in the UK and are certified to the ISO 9001:2015 quality management standard.
