Mitchell Brookins, Ph.D., currently serves as the Managing Director of the Science of Reading Network at Leading Educators and holds multiple roles, including Senior Director of Programming, Instructional Leadership Coach at New Schools for New Orleans, and Professional Learning Facilitator at Lexia Learning. Brookins has extensive experience in educational leadership, previously working as a Professional Learning Facilitator at UnboundEd.org and serving as a School Administrator across several organizations, including InspireNOLA Charter Schools, ARISE Schools, and ReNEW Schools Charter Management Organization. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from Illinois Wesleyan University, a Master of Arts in Teacher Leadership from Roosevelt University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration from the University of New Orleans.

We draw from our expertise as career educators, coaches, and designers to help educators to practice what they teach and plan for the future. We partner with leaders to offer a range of customized supports, including strategic advising, ongoing curriculum-based professional learning design and implementation, and coaching, to spark transformation at scale. By building on strengths and bolstering the conditions for educators to succeed, we ensure that transformational leadership, practices, and results endure without us.
