Monique Wright

Monique Wright is an experienced education leader currently serving as the Senior Director in Los Angeles at Leading Educators since August 2021 and as a contractor with TNTP since September 2020. Wright has a strong background in teaching as a 4th-grade teacher at Lowell School (August 2019 - August 2020) and has held senior leadership roles at Leading Educators, where the development of a customized program model for school leaders was a key achievement. Prior roles include Founding Lower Academy Director at Democracy Prep Public Schools, where effective management and teacher development strategies led to improved student outcomes, along with experience in emerging leadership and program management positions. Wright possesses an M.S. in Early Childhood Leadership from Bank Street College of Education, an M.S. in Teaching from Pace University, and a BA in Psychology and African American Studies from Temple University.
