Jan Skácel

Jan Skácel has a strong background in programming and software development. Jan is currently the Founder & CTO of Leadspicker.com, a web service that provides startup intelligence through web crawling and data cleaning. Prior to this, they worked at Seznam.cz as a Senior Programmer, where they were responsible for architecture design, REST API implementation, and mobile app backends. Jan also encouraged the usage of modern methodologies and design patterns. Before that, Jan worked as a Programmer at Seznam.cz, implementing business logic and finding solutions for scalability issues. Jan also has experience as a Junior Programmer at Seznam.cz. Earlier in their career, they were a Python developer at FIT BUT, where they developed AI software modules. Jan's work experience also includes a brief role as a Technical support operator at Sonet s.r.o.

Jan Skácel completed their education in a chronological order starting from the year 2005. Jan attended the Secondary Technical School in Přerov, specializing in automatization from 2005 to 2009. After that, they went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Brno University of Technology, which they obtained between 2009 and 2013. Jan furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Information Technology, specifically from Tomas Bata University in Zlín, from 2014 to 2016.
