Marcos Azeredo

Marcos Azeredo has a diverse work experience in various industries. Marcos is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Leadzai since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager New Business at SONAE from September 2020 to July 2021. Before that, they worked at Bright Pixel SA as a Portfolio Development professional from April 2017 to September 2020. Marcos also gained experience at Sonae IM, where they worked as an Investment Analyst responsible for M&A activities from October 2015 to April 2017. Marcos began their career at Sonae in February 2014, where they were involved in market research and company profiling in the M&A department and also contributed to the creation of Sonae E. Ventures, an investment arm for e-commerce businesses. Marcos Azeredo's early work experience includes their role in the Financial Markets team at FEP Finance Club from October 2012 to January 2014, where they engaged in portfolio management and market research, later transitioning to the Research and Valuation department, where they performed valuations of key companies at the national and international level.

Marcos Azeredo holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from FEP U. Porto - Economics and Management, which they obtained from 2009 to 2012. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Finance from the same institution, completing it from 2012 to 2014. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder designation from the CFA Institute in October 2019. Additionally, Marcos received their IELTS certification from the British Council in June 2015.
