Matteo Cappella

Matteo Cappella is a professional with extensive experience in regulatory affairs and policy within the aerospace sector. Currently serving as the Head of Regulatory Affairs at Leaf Space since March 2021, Matteo also holds the position of Secretary at the Commercial SmallSat Spectrum Management Association since October 2021. Previous roles include Research Consultant at SPPARC, Operations Manager and Consultant at the Space Generation Advisory Council, and various research positions at the European Space Policy Institute. Matteo's educational background spans a Master's Degree in International Politics and Economic Relations from Università degli Studi di Macerata, a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Business from Università Politecnica delle Marche, and ongoing studies in Strategic Space Law at McGill University. Additionally, a recent training course in Radio Frequency Spectrum Management was completed at Anne Arundel Community College.
