Kris Clark

Director of Program Management at LeafLabs

Clark has spent the better part of three decades working in the optical engineering field. She has experience in the design, build, and test of optical systems for ground, air, and space application from the UV to the IR. Before LeafLabs, Clark spent eighteen years at MIT Lincoln Laboratory eventually transitioning from technical staff to group leader of the optical engineering group. She gained program management experience working on the NASA TESS (Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite) program, where she served as the deputy program manager for the instrument. Most recently she was the program manager for the NASA TROPICS (Time-Resolved Observations of Precipitation structure and storm Intensity with a Constellation of Smallsats) program. She is excited to apply her program management skills to a completely new technology area at LeafLabs. In her off hours, she enjoys walking with her energetic beagle Sargent and working on any one of a number of unfinished quilt projects. (Massachusetts Institute of Technology B.S.
