Nicholas New

Nicholas New is currently a firefighter recruit at Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service since June 2024, while also serving as a teaching assistant at LeafSpring Schools since May 2023. Previously, Nicholas held the role of DEI Facilitator at Virginia Military Institute from May 2023 to May 2024, focusing on promoting equality among students of diverse backgrounds. Additional experience includes working as a security officer for Indian Cove Resort Association from May 2023 to March 2024 and as a commercial specialist at AutoZone from June 2022 to June 2023, where responsibilities included sales and customer relations. Nicholas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Language and Culture from Virginia Military Institute, attended from 2020 to 2024, and completed a high school diploma at Kempsville High School in June 2020.
