Laura Klein, PhD

Laura Klein, PhD has experience working as a Head Curator & Director of Herbal Research at LeafWorks Inc. since October 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Saint Louis University from June 2017 to September 2019. Before their postdoctoral role, Laura was a Ph.D. candidate and Graduate Research Assistant at Saint Louis University from 2012 to 2017. Laura also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Miami University from 2010 to 2012 and as a Herbarium Technician at Student Titan Employment from January 2009 to January 2010. Laura has had a variety of teaching, research, mentoring, and collaborative experiences throughout their professional journey.

Laura Klein, PhD received their Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, completing their education in the year 2010. Laura then pursued their Master of Science (M.S) degree in Botany at Miami University from 2010 to 2012. Later on, Laura attended Saint Louis University from 2012 to 2017, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree in Biology with a specialization in plant evolution.
