Jamie Hancock

Program Director, People Operations at LeagueApps

Jamie Hancock is the Program Director for People Operations at LeagueApps. Prior to this, they served as the Global Director for the Oslo Freedom Forum from April 2012 to November 2018. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of the $1.8 million annual international human rights conference series, including speaker selection, workshop and panel development, and arts and entertainment programming. Jamie also managed relationships with Norwegian partner organizations and funders, including the Norwegian Foreign Ministry and City of Oslo, and developed relationships with current and potential donors in Norway and the U.S. Additionally, they oversaw a team of 18 HRF staff and 20 outside contractors and staff to invite and register over 1,000 international and local attendees, reserve travel and accommodation for 200 attendees, and coordinate interviews between speakers and 100 journalists in attendance. Jamie has also produced satellite events throughout the year, including College Freedom Forums in the U.S. and abroad.

Jamie Hancock received a Master of Arts from New York University in International Politics and Business. Jamie also holds a Bachelor of Arts from University of California, Berkeley in International Political Economy and Spanish Language and Literature.

Jamie Hancock reports to Joanne Murray, VP, People. Jamie Hancock works with Amanda Astudillo - Senior Manager, People Department, Scott Leonardis - Head, Talent Acquisition. and Jeremy Pagtalunan - People Operations Admin reports to Jamie Hancock.
