James Kelly has extensive work experience in operations and supply chain management. James most recently served as the Director of Lean Focus Business Systems at Lean Focus LLC since June 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Operations, Capacity/Footprint Management at NORMA Group from June 2018 to June 2020. James also held positions as the Director of Factory Management at Lam Research from 2015 to 2018, Vice President and GM at Precision Castparts from 2014 to 2015, and Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain at Stanley Black & Decker from 2009 to 2013. Before that, they held management roles at Simonds International, Danaher, and General Electric.
James Kelly attended Natick High School, although no specific dates were provided. From 1984 to 1988, they studied Mathematics at the College of the Holy Cross, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Concurrently, from 1985 to 1989, they pursued Electrical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in that field.
