Kingdom Orjiewuru has over seven years of professional software engineering experience. In 2015, they began their career as a Systems Integrator at Medsoft Nig. Ltd, where they designed and led the development of an automated tax management system for Hotel and Tourism industries in Abia state using JavaScript and Java. Kingdom also built and maintained the application integration for Abia State Internal Revenue Service's central tax management system APIs. In 2018, they joined CommonBond.co as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to the development of an internal loan processing platform using JavaScript (React), SCSS, and GraphQL (Apollo). Kingdom also built and delivered an MBA rate calculator and created unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for the front-end React using Jest and Cypress, and backend Java micro-services using JUnit. In 2019, they joined ShipStation as a Software Engineer, where they optimized their V3 search feature and implemented caching and preloading of frequently accessed data across the frontend React/Redux & RxJs application. Kingdom also improved the user experience of the Order Tags feature. In 2020, they joined Aula as a Software Engineer, where they maintained micro-services and internal projects. Kingdom also implemented a new micro-service that synced users from Aula platform to Zendesk. In 2021, they joined Lounge (acquired by Pulse) as a Senior Software Engineer, where they led the development of the Lounge web experience platform. Kingdom also collaborated with the team to design and develop cloud services to support low latency multi-device (iOS, Mac, Web) handoff on Lounge audio calls, and built a real-time web rich-text messaging platform and screen-sharing tool. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Lean Technologies.
Kingdom Orjiewuru attended The Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri from 2012 to 2014, where they earned a National Diploma in Computer Science. In 2020, they began pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science and International Business at the University of Cumbria, which they are expected to complete in 2022. In February 2022, they also obtained a Triplebyte Certified certification from Triplebyte.
