Richard O'Connell

Richard O'Connell is the founder and CEO of Leap Easy, a proptech company that provides rent guaranty insurance to student housing and multifamily landlords nationwide. Prior to Leap, Richard served as the interim CEO of SITO Mobile and as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Credit Officer of both Emergent Capital, Inc. and RapidAdvance, LLC. Richard is also the founding COO of Insurent Agency Corporation, the first apartment lease guarantor in the United States. Richard has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry and is a recognized expert in the field of alternative lending. Richard is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.
