LEAP is a charity operating in South Lanarkshire which enhances the lives of older people within the community.

LEAP has served the community since 1992 after being born out of a sense of frustration due to a lack of services for older people in the Cambuslang area. This prompted a group of people to come together and make a plan to meet the needs of older people in a practical and fun way, and the rest is history.

Today LEAP serves thousands of members and clients in communities across South Lanarkshire, remaining true to its roots through its Learning, Health and Wellbeing activities, but now also supporting older people with befriending, dementia and handyperson services.

It also operates three Community Hubs in Rutherglen, Cambuslang and Halfway that continue to keep former council properties in community hands.
