Chie Davis

Chie Davis has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Chie'smost recent role is as a Creator at Mommafied, a health, wellness, and self-care brand for busy moms. In this role, they support moms in their health and wellness journey through relatable content, resources, and self-care products.

Before that, Chie worked at Leapgen as a Social Media & Content Marketing Strategist. Here, they developed growth strategies and spearheaded social media campaigns to increase the brand's digital impact. Chie also managed content creation, copywriting, social post scheduling, and engagement across various social media platforms.

Prior to Leapgen, Chie was a Video Producer/Editor at Wochit. In this role, they created short-form news and feature videos tailored for social media. These videos were distributed on Wochit's storyboard and used by numerous media brands globally.

Chie also has experience as a Video Reporter at The Courier-Journal, where they produced, shot, edited, wrote, hosted, and voiced online video reports covering local news, features, and enterprise reports. Chie also hosted live events, in-studio shoots, and on-location shoots.

Earlier in their career, Chie worked as a Writer/Content Curator at PowerToFly, where they created multimedia content for the company's website and Medium blog. Chie also worked as a Writer/Blogger at Ebyline, Inc., writing sponsored content for various online sites and media properties, including fashion and technology blogs for The Los Angeles Times e-commerce pilot project.

Chie has also held positions such as an Online News Producer at WHAS-TV, where they wrote and produced local and national news content for the web, and an Online Writer/Curator at Upworthy, where they reported and provided commentary on meaningful news, politics, pop culture, health, gender, sports, parenting, and social issues.

Chie Davis completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Writing from Sarah Lawrence College from 1996 to 2000. In 2012 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Specialized Journalism from the University of Southern California.
