Megan Shipley is an experienced consultant who works with federal government and commercial IT organizations with global reach to tackle their biggest challenges.
After over 10 years of hands-on practice in every IT discipline, Megan has come to believe that “IT problems” are rarely IT related. Technology is an unparalleled enabler – and we’re in the most exciting era of tech advancement – but technology without sensible guardrails will fail every single time. Megan focuses on practical application of proven frameworks, the core of which is scalable, standardized processes and change management practices that enable both the consumers and the providers of IT to do their very best work. Megan has had the privilege of seeing her contributions enable some of the largest federal departments to significantly improve the stewardship of taxpayer dollars, focus the response and recovery operations of national emergency management missions, enhance the day-to-day healthcare experience for our military servicemen and women, and increase the efficacy of our deployed peacekeeping and goodwill representatives.
Megan is a Certified Enterprise IT Governance (CGEIT) practitioner, Project Management Professional (PMP), and Technology Business Management Executive (TBME), and an eager student of Robotics Process Automation. Prior to LeapPoint, Megan was with IBM Global Business Services. She holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Finance and Educational Studies from Lindenwood University.
