Leonardo Machado has extensive work experience in the software engineering and development field. Leonardo began their career at Jakar i.t. as a Software Architect in 2004 and then moved to Linknet in 2005, where they worked as a Software Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for Sharepoint development and leading a team of developers for government projects. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Consultant at the Regional Bank of Brasilia and the International Trade Centre in Switzerland, where they migrated applications and redesigned software architecture.

In 2007, Leonardo joined Autotrac as a Software Engineer and Team Lead Dev., where they redesigned and refactored a web-based tracking and monitoring solution. Leonardo introduced architectural changes to improve performance and decrease wait times.

Leonardo then worked at ANAC - Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency as a Software Engineer and later as a Software Architect and Team Lead Dev. Leonardo elaborated the architecture model of the intranet site and conducted data migration processes.

In 2013, Leonardo founded Tiwa Software and served as the CEO and Software Engineer, developing a comprehensive solution for lawyers. Leonardo developed the architecture and managed the project, which is currently used in more than 90 countries.

From 2014 to 2018, Leonardo worked at Comp Line Informatica as a Consultant Software Engineer and Team Lead Dev., where they designed lead follow-up architecture and created an Architecture Guideline.

Their most recent role was as the VP of R&D Computational BIM at LeapThought, starting in 2017. In this role, they led an innovative team focused on developing software tools for the AEC industry, including Model Checker, Quality Checker, and 3D visualization tools.

Throughout their career, Leonardo has demonstrated expertise in software architecture, development, and project management, with a strong focus on delivering cutting-edge solutions.

Leonardo Machado holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law from IESB, which they obtained between the years 2008 and 2012. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in IT from UniCEUB - Centro Universitário de Brasília from 1994 to 1998. Their educational journey began at Santa Doroteia, where they attended school from 1983 to 1986. Apart from their formal education, Leonardo has also earned several certifications from Microsoft, including MCSA: Cloud Platform, MCSD: App Builder, and MS: Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions, among others. These certifications were obtained from 2007 to 2017.
