Carlos Valdez

Carlos Valdez has extensive experience in manufacturing and operations management, currently serving as Engineering Director and Campus Operations Manager at Lear Corporation since July 2021, overseeing manufacturing plants in Torreón with a workforce of 8,000 employees. Previously, Carlos held various leadership positions at Aptiv and Yazaki Corporation, including Plant Manager and Operations Manager, with responsibilities spanning multiple countries such as Mexico, Nicaragua, and El Salvador. A veteran in the field, Carlos worked with Yazaki North America for nearly 17 years in roles from Production Supervisor to Plant Manager. Carlos holds an MBA from 2013 and a degree in Digital Electronics Engineering from 2001, along with a Black Belt certification obtained in 2021.
