Chandrashekar Simha

Chandrashekar Simha is an experienced engineering and operations leader, currently serving as Director Seat Trim-Foam Engineering and CTO, Asia at Lear Corporation since July 2013. Previous roles include Director Seat Trim Engineering and CTO, as well as leadership in ASEAN operations and launch management. Prior to Lear Corporation, Chandrashekar held the position of Plant Head at Tata Johnson Controls Automotive Ltd from July 2008 to September 2012, overseeing P&L and quality deliverables while establishing a greenfield plant for the Etios program. Experience further includes roles at Sundaram Auto Components Pvt Ltd, SJS Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., TG Kirloskar Automotive Pvt Ltd, and BPL Refrigeration Ltd, with responsibilities ranging from facility management to production processes. Chandrashekar holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UVCE, completed in 1994.
