David Staples

David Staples has over two decades of experience in the automotive supply industry, currently serving as the Director of Operations at Lear Corporation since April 2001, where responsibilities have included roles as Plant Manager at a metal fabrication plant and a JIT supplier to Ford KCAP. Prior to this, David Staples was Operations Manager and Manufacturing Engineer at Intier Automotive from April 1999 to April 2001, specializing in window regulators as a Tier 1 supplier. David Staples holds an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, both from Ryerson University, obtained between 1986 and 1990.
