Eric Smith

Eric Smith, MBA, is an experienced purchasing manager currently leading the Stampings & Fine Blankings team within the EU Structures business unit at Lear Corporation since June 2017. Prior to this role, Eric served as the Purchasing Manager for NA Surface Materials, overseeing Trim commodities and held senior buyer positions focusing on automotive and medical industry sourcing requirements. Between November 2014 and June 2017, Eric was the Senior Buyer at Arden Companies, responsible for fabric procurement for U.S. and Asia production plants. Earlier experience includes working as a Material Planner at Gabriel North America, managing materials logistics for a production facility in Mexico, and completing a logistics co-op with Ferguson Enterprises. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University and an MBA in Global Supply Chain Management from Wayne State University.
