Gunny Patel

Gunny Patel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in continuous improvement and operational excellence, currently serving as Vice President of Global Continuous Improvement at Lear Corporation since 2003. Gunny has a strong background in designing and implementing systems to optimize costs and improve operational performance, including a global initiative for managing the Cost of Poor Quality and a Kaizen Championship to foster a culture of improvement. Previous roles include Director of Continuous Improvement and Director of Operations Support for the Asia Pacific Region, where Gunny achieved significant cost reductions through Lean Six Sigma techniques and led numerous new facility developments. Gunny began a career at Delphi Automotive as an Industrial Engineer, where project leadership in manufacturing consolidation delivered notable improvements in efficiency and resource utilization. Gunny Patel holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.
