Jason Cardew

Jason Cardew is senior vice president and chief financial officer of Lear Corporation, effective November 2019. He is responsible for Lear's global financial strategy and financial activities, including Accounting, Financial Transactions and Controls, Financial Reporting, Corporate Business Planning and Analysis, Treasury and Tax matters worldwide.

Mr. Cardew began his career at Lear as an accountant in the corporate office in 1992. Since then, he has held various operational and commercial finance positions, including vice president, finance; vice president, financial planning and analysis; and interim chief financial officer. Most recently, Mr. Cardew served as vice president, finance, for the company’s global Seating and E-Systems businesses.

Mr. Cardew earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Master of Business Administration degree from Michigan State University.
