Jonathan F. Foster

Jonathan Foster is the current Director at Lear. Jonathan has also previously worked as the Executive Vice President -- Finance & Business Administration at Revolution Living, Managing Director at The Cypress Group, and Executive Vice President -- Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer at toysrus.com.

Jonathan has always been interested in business and started their career at Bear Stearns & Co. where they worked their way up to Managing Director. In 2000, they were offered the position of Executive Vice President -- Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer at toysrus.com which they accepted.

After a few years at toysrus.com, Jonathan moved on to Revolution Living where they were once again in charge of finance and business administration. Jonathan played an active role in portfolio management as well as sourcing and executing new investments.

In 2002, Jonathan left Revolution Living to become Managing Director at The Cypress Group. Jonathan led the General Industrial & Services effort and recruited a team to work with him. Jonathan was successful in bringing in numerous executives as senior advisors and leveraging their extensive Wall Street relationships to drive strong deal flow.

Jonathan’s most recent position before becoming Director at Lear was with Current Capital Partners LLC where they worked from 2007 to 2020.

Jonathan Foster has a BBA in Accounting from Emory University and an Msc in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Jonathan also has a certification from FINRA in Series 7, 24, 79, 99 and 63.
