Simon Moore

Simon Moore is an accomplished engineering project manager with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently at Lear Corporation since November 2015, Simon oversees a range of engineering projects. Previously, at Johnson Controls Automotive (Europe) from August 2010 to November 2015, Simon held a lead role managing the Ford mechanism seating application team, ensuring the successful launch of multiple Ford models, including the Fiesta, Focus, and Ranger, while also acting as the focal point for North American seat mechanism designs implemented in Europe. Simon's earlier experience as a lead mechanical engineer at Johnson Controls Automotive (Europe + USA) involved overseeing the development and production of seat structures and mechanisms, while initial work at Rolls Royce and Bentley Motor Cars Ltd as a senior interior designer focused on interior trim design launches. Simon holds an HNC in Mechanical Engineering from South Cheshire College.
