Taranatha Shetty

Taranatha Shetty is an Engineering Manager at Lear Corporation, where they have established a world-class test lab for passive safety, structural, and functional durability, alongside an airbag testing facility. With extensive experience in testing and validation, Taranatha has successfully executed numerous projects for major automotive clients, such as Mercedes and Nissan, and has developed various in-house test facilities to meet diverse customer requirements. Prior to their current role, Taranatha served as a Senior Engineer and Testing Head at Harita Seating Systems Limited, where they initiated in-house testing and homologation activities. Taranatha holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering with Distinction from B. M. S. College of Engineering.
