Vikas Kumar Jay

Vikas Kumar Jay is an experienced Design Release Engineer with a focus on automotive seating systems. Currently serving at Lear Corporation since May 2017, Vikas is involved in the General Motors T1 SUV Program as a Resident Engineer at GM's Warren Technical Center. Prior to this role, Vikas worked at Adient as a Product Engineer responsible for North America complete seat projects, and at RECARO North America as a Design Release Engineer for GM's Cadillac V series and HP Camaro seating systems. Vikas also has experience with Tata Johnson Control Automotive Engineering Division and Johnson Controls, contributing to various automotive projects across multiple business units in Europe and North America. Vikas holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, along with a strong foundation in product development and engineering support.
