Vikas Wayal

Vikas Wayal is a seasoned automotive professional with extensive experience in engineering and management within the seating systems sector. Currently serving as Senior General Manager at Lear Corporation since June 2019, Vikas leads Complete Seating operations in India and globally, focusing on operational improvement, quality, efficiency, and employee engagement. Prior to this role, Vikas held positions at Faurecia as Deputy Director and Adient as Senior Engineering Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing budget targets, product launches, and team development. Vikas began a career in engineering at Tata Johnson Controls Automotive Limited and has progressively taken on roles with increasing responsibility, showcasing expertise in product design, development, and project management across various automotive programs. Vikas holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree from the University of Pune.
