Viorel Chioru is the Country Environmental Health and Safety Manager for Romania and Moldavia at Lear Corporation, where they manage and coordinate EHS activities across multiple sites. Viorel has held various positions within the company since 2002, including Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator, where they implemented policies and ensured compliance with legislation. They hold multiple certifications in environmental management and health & safety, including ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Viorel earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanics Engineering from Danubius University in 1989.
