Matthew Barry

Matthew Barry is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in impact assessment, partnership building, and strategic development across various sectors. Currently serving as a Partner at Learn Capital since November 2021, Matthew is focused on brand differentiation and enhancing social impact. Prior to this role, Matthew was the Chief Development Officer at the National Western Center, where efforts centered around global food solutions and stakeholder engagement. As Chief Impact Officer at Gary Community Ventures, Matthew led initiatives to assess investment effectiveness and drive social change, particularly in early childhood development. Previous positions include Chief Operating Officer at Summit 54, Director of Data and Information Initiatives at The Piton Foundation, Regional Demographer at the Denver Regional Council of Governments, and an early career role at Twist & Shout. Matthew holds a Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning with a focus on Economic Development from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor's Degree in History from Truman State University.
