Fred Grauer

Fred Grauer is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Learneo and Katch Media. Previously, Fred held the position of Chairman and CEO at Barclays Global Investors from 1983 to 1998, and later became a General Partner of Angel Investors, L.P., where Fred contributed to early-stage investments in notable companies like Google and PayPal. With an extensive background in advisory roles, Fred has also been involved with several organizations, including serving as a Trustee and Chair of the Compensation and Governance Committees at Commonfund. Fred earned a BA(Hons) in Economics from The University of British Columbia, an MA in Economics from the University of Chicago, and a Ph.D. in Business from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
