Catina Hancock

VP of Professional Learning at Learner-Centered Collaborative

Catina Hancock has had a long and varied career, beginning as a Teacher for Carlsbad Unified in 1998. Catina then moved to Carlsbad Unified School District in 2004, taking on the roles of Principal and Assistant Principal. In 2008, they became Principal of Calavera Hills Middle School. In 2012, they moved to Vista Unified School District, where they were Principal until 2016. That year, they became Owner of Vista CrossFit. In 2012, they also became Owner/Trainer of Carlsbad CrossFit. In 2017, they became an Independent Consultant for Rodan and Fields, Personal Skin care. In 2018, they joined Altitude Learning as a Senior Lead (Leadership and Learning) and Senior Partner Success Lead. In 2020, they became Vice President Strategic Partnerships and VP of Professional Learning for Learner-Centered Collaborative, and also took on the role of Small Business Owner for Savvi.

Catina Hancock earned their Master's degree in Administration from National University between 2000 and 2002. Prior to that they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from California State University San Marcos between 1995 and 1997.
