Kevin O'Malley has a diverse background in product management and industrial design. Kevin currently works as a Product Manager (Industrial Design) at Learning Resources since August 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Pactiv, LLC as an Industrial Designer from October 2015 to August 2020. In this role, Kevin led the early concept design work and collaborated with various clients and stakeholders from the retail, food packaging, and food service industries. Kevin was responsible for creating concept presentations and preparing selected designs for prototyping and production.

Before Pactiv, Kevin worked as a Product Design Intern at Munchkin (Brica) for a short period from January 2015 to April 2015. In this role, they led the concept development for various projects and coordinated manufacturing details with engineers in China.

During their early career, Kevin gained experience as a Prototype Engineer Intern at Radio Flyer from June 2014 to December 2014. Here, they worked with different teams to create prototypes for design evaluation and product development. Kevin also assisted in design refinement, mechanism development, and child-testing research. Additionally, Kevin had a brief internship at Radio Flyer as a Model Shop Intern from June 2013 to August 2013.

Kevin O'Malley received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Design from Virginia Tech, where they attended from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Cardinal Spellman High School, from 2006 to 2010.
