John McDermott

John McDermott, CPTD, is an experienced professional with a diverse background in performance improvement, computer engineering, and instructional design. As the owner of J-K International, Ltd. since 1989, John focuses on innovative coaching and mentoring solutions. In addition to this role, John has been a Contract Senior Course Instructor and Instructional Designer/Author/Content Marketer for Learning Tree International since 1983, where responsibilities include designing and delivering courses in computer security, networking, and programming, as well as serving as a technical editor. Previous positions include Senior Computer Engineer at Applied Technology Associates from 1987 to 1990 and various roles at the University of New Mexico from 1978 to 1987. John's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (Computer Engineering) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering, both from the University of New Mexico.
