Gisela Lindeque

Gisela Lindeque is an experienced educator and language specialist, currently serving as a Business English Teacher at Learnlight since May 2022. With a robust background in proofreading and language editing for academic papers, presentations, and various texts since March 2015, Gisela has extensive expertise in Social Sciences, Anthropology, Narratology, Linguistics, and Eastern European Border Studies. Additionally, Gisela has been a freelance translator, proficient in translating written texts from German to English, German to Afrikaans, and English to/from Afrikaans. Prior roles include English Language Trainer positions at Inlingua Berlin and HIW Sprachenstudio, as well as tutoring physics and mathematics to international high school students. Gisela holds a Certificate in TESOL from the University of the Witwatersrand and dual degrees in Applied Mathematics from Stellenbosch University.
