Heather Lo

Heather Lo has a diverse work experience in the field of education and language learning. Heather started their career as a Teacher at the American Nicaraguan School in 2000 and then worked as a Teacher at the Falmouth Public Schools from 2002 to 2004. Heather later joined Flagler County Schools as a Teacher and School Advisory Committee Chair from 2004 to 2013.

In 2012, Heather joined Open English as a Curriculum Specialist, where they worked until 2015. Heather then joined FluentWorlds as a Curriculum Developer & Linguist until 2017.

Heather's most recent work experience includes roles at Learnlight. Heather started as a Corporate Trainer in 2013 and later became a Specialist, Learning and Development Manager from 2014 to 2019. Heather then transitioned to the role of Product Manager (LCMS & Trainer Apps) from 2020 to 2020, followed by the role of Head of Languages from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Learning Experience at Learnlight.

Heather Lo holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music from Bridgewater State University, which they completed in the year 2000. Heather then pursued a Master's Degree in International Education at Framingham State University, completing it in the year 2002. Afterward, they attended Walden University from 2002 to 2004, where they focused on Educational Leadership. In addition to their academic achievements, Heather has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2015, they completed the Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification through the CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange. More recently, in 2020 and 2022, they obtained certifications in Agile Crash Course from Udemy and Product Management Foundations from Mind the Product, respectively. Heather also completed courses on Advanced Management Training from Eazl and The Product Management for AI & Data Science in 2022 from Udemy.
