Lucy Linhares has extensive experience in intercultural training and social anthropology. Currently serving as President of International Cultural Assistance since 1996, Lucy transitioned from working with Amazon rainforest Indians to providing cultural training for students studying abroad and those coming to Brazil. Lucy also holds roles as an Intercultural Trainer at Learnlight and Learnship, and has been the First President of SIETAR Brasil since June 2015. Additionally, Lucy has served as a Senior Trainer at BGRS and contributed as a Co-author for Cultural Detective. Lucy's previous experience includes managing developmental operations at AFS Intercultura Brasil, where programs were created under the Kellogg Foundation grant. Lucy holds a Master's degree in Social Anthropology from PPGAS - UFRJ and a degree from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
