Learn Space Foundation (LSF) is a Nigerian non-profit founded in 2020 to make space science and technology a real opportunity, not just a concept for young Africans. Based in Calabar, Cross River State, LSF runs competitions, builds institutional partnerships, and delivers hands-on programmes in schools and underserved communities across Nigeria.

Since founding, LSF has organised annual Space Science, Astronomy & Technology Competitions across Cross River State; coordinated the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot national rounds with Nigeria's space agency, NASRDA; and facilitated a formal partnership between NASRDA and the U.S.-based Space Exploration and Research Agency (SERA) aimed at expanding Nigerian access to human spaceflight opportunities. Our work reaches secondary school students, university students, educators, and youth in communities that conventional STEM programmes overlook.

We operate at a specific gap: Africa produces space enthusiasts but lacks the structured pathways, competitions, legal education, institutional links to convert curiosity into careers. LSF is building those pathways in Nigeria.
