Nolan Wetherell

Associate Manager, Teaching Operations at LearnWell

Nolan Wetherell has a diverse range of work experience in the education field. From 2018 to the present, they have worked as the Associate Manager for Teaching Operations at LearnWell, where they oversee 12 teachers remotely and manages relationships with clients and students. Prior to this role, from 2018 to 2021, Nolan worked as a Hospital Teacher at TaraVista Behavioral Health Center, where they taught a K-12 curriculum and coordinated with guidance counselors to help students complete their assignments. Nolan also has experience teaching English as a Second Language, both online with VIPKID and in South Korea at Korea Poly School. In addition, Nolan has worked as a substitute teacher at Fitchburg Public Schools and North Middlesex Regional School District, and has completed a Northbound thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. Nolan also has experience in organic farming and has taught English classes as part of their practicum at South Hadley High School.

Nolan Wetherell completed their high school education at North Middlesex Regional High School from 2004 to 2008, earning a High School Diploma. Following this, they attended Westfield State University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education. In September 2012, they obtained an English (8-12) Initial Teacher's License from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Nolan further enhanced their qualifications with additional certifications, including an Elementary (1-6) Initial Teacher's License and a Sheltered English Immersion Endorsement, both obtained in 2018 from the Massachusetts Department of Education.
