Dean James

Dean James has a wide range of work experience, beginning in 2012 as a Graduate Assistant at the University of South Carolina. In 2013, they took on the role of Reviews Editor at Just Push Start. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Night Auditor at Island Vista, Lead Content Editor at Geek Culture Podcast, and Editor at Attack of the Fanboy. In 2016, they also held the role of Access Services Specialist at Coastal Carolina University. In 2021, they were a DualShockers and an Event Expert at Event.Gives. Currently, Dean James is an Instructional Support Specialist at Luma "Brighter Learning". In this role, they oversee, manages, and quickly responds to all immediate customer and driver support requests. Dean also meets with clients virtually using Luma's screen sharing solution to provide technical support as needed, and engages with the instructional design/marketing team to provide ideas, support, and execution of successful social marking campaigns and website SEO. Additionally, they work with the instructional design team to edit and create videos, and is engaged with technology projects as needed.

Dean James attended the University of South Carolina from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Dean then returned to the University of South Carolina from 2010 to 2012 to attain a Master of Sport and Entertainment Management in Sport and Entertainment Management.
